Art is freedom

I am also in the position to create something, but I think artists are free because they don't choose their customers. Although it may sound strange, we professionals actually choose our customers. However artists don't need to choose their customers, and they just create and accept their observers. I think it is their freedom.

The greatest inventions of mankind

I think that the wheel is one of the greatest inventions of mankind. The activation of land transport with the wheels has led to improvement of our life. However, floating transportation, for example drones and linear motors etc, will be developed then wheels might end their roles in our history.

Stabilizer is great

I like the TV program "World Strollers" on NHK BS2. Actually, I'd not like to appear on it, but I'd like to become the camera on it. The camera can move really smoothly through beautiful towns and nature thanks to the stabilizer. That seems to be extremely pleasant.

Alternative medicine

I heard that Steve Jobs regretted he had chosen alternative medicine for his deadly disease at early time. However, every of them might not be necessarily bad. When I want to find a good way, I will try not to become hardened and to know options as many as possible.

Instant noodles and economy

I heard that the decreasing of the consumption of instant noodles shows improving of the economy of Asian countries. I don't have any idea of the relation between the instant noodles and economy. Actually, I have instant cup noodles for my lunch almost everyday, and my own economy haven't been better. Might it be like a curse? Could I escape from it by adding a raw egg in it?

Space travel

There is an impressed scene in "Blade Runner". The dying criminal cyborg told to Deckard about beautiful scenery such as bright colorful galaxies, the beautiful star of Orion while he has been transferring in the universe on his old missions. I hope to enjoy traveling through starts before my die.

AI Go master

Alpha Go just chose that strategy from it's statistical data. It doesn't have any unique intention. On the other hand, it shows that human tends not to be able to think out of the box. We can learn from this that we aren't free yet from our customs and tradition.

J.K. Rowling apologized on Twitter?

I head J.K. Rowling apologized on Twitter for killing off one of the characters in the story and her fans argued that.
I'm not interested in "Harry Potter" at all. But I have an interest in the author, if it means that the tweet could come from her consideration with awareness of the danger to put an end to the argument that had happened started and might not be likely to end.

Credit cards amazing system

I think the convenience of credit cards in online shopping is really amazing. The transactions can be completed very fast just on my mobile phone thanks to them. Anyway, who imagined that the payment system to buy gasoline that originally began in the 1920's became one of modern technological foundations?

My childhood wishes

Did any of my childhood wishes ever come true? This was not my wish but it comes true. When I was a child, I made and play with machine-ish cardboard control panel imitated spaceship cockpit or commander room on SF series. There were lots of switches and knobs on it. Now, I operate like them on the computer screen.

Hayao Miyazaki returns

I heard Hayao Miyazaki decided to withdraw his retirement. Anyway, Denis Villeneuve's "Alival" I watched last month is a really great movie, and I heard he is creating a new version of "Blade Runner" which was created at 1982 by Ridley Scott who I most admire. I respect Hayao Miyazaki, but I think generational change is necessary sooner or later.

Balance of work and personal life

I think I'd better be interested in various things and experience them because too focusing to one thing could make my mind narrower. So, an important thing for me is not to keep the balance of work and personal life, but to make opportunities to get various points of view.

Electric car

I want to have a electric car, but I think current popular lithium vehicle is unpardonable. This is because lithium battery would degrade with age then it must be discarded. Hydrogen battery is superior in that point. However there are future subjects in the construction and maintenance of hydrogen plants.

Someone say that cooking at home is better, as Naotoshi Sasaki's book "家めしこそ、最高のごちそうである。" says. I agree with these opinions.

But on the other hand, the older I'm getting, the smaller appetite I have. I think that cook at home makes worse cost performance and often wastes foodstuffs for just one person me who eat a little. In addition, it serves recreation to enjoy a little luxury at restaurants where there are many various people.

A lack of communication between parents and their children.

I heard that parents seem to be concerned about increasing troubles related to social networking services and that is why they are monitoring their children's smartphone. However, this protective action is raising the argument of invading children’s privacy and the opinions are divided on the issue.

Otherwise, I think there is no problem that both of them agree with that. So the important problem is a lack of communication between them. If they could communicate enough each other, it would be easy to have such a mutual agreement, or there might be no need to monitor them.

I work alone at home

I work alone at home and spend almost all day in front of my computer. I often feel tired, become sleepy and can't concentrate at home, then I will go out to coffee shops with my laptop and work there in those case. I wish there was someone at home.

Hiring process AI

I heard many companies have started to implement AI systems in the hiring process. I think it is natural to use AI because it is very hard to research huge background records of all applicants. In some cases it may obviously indicate inappropriate. On the other hand, I also think it needs human intuition because there are unquantified elements such as personality and sincerity,

Vending machines great

I was walking around looking for a cafe in hot yesterday, and couldn't find it then tired. It was residencial area, no convenience store, but a vending machine saved sweaty me. Someone say there are a lot of vending machines in Japan and they spend and waste huge electronic power. But I think human and location costs are much higher than energy costs, and stores might consume more energy than vending machines. So I want to say that vending machines are better.

Realy go to stores lately.

When I wanted books or electronics as soon as possible, I usually went to stores. But in many cases, they had no stock of them and I had wasted my own hours to go there. Therefore I purchase these kinds of things on Amazon even if in a hurry lately.

Time Machine

I think that many people might say they want to go their past and warn to themselves the mistakes they had been going to commit in their future. But in my case, if I could warn to myself, I can't help feeling that I must have done the same mistakes.

"The Circle"

I read a novel "The Circle". The big IT company try to spread simulcasting small cameras to the world and people come to monitor each other in the novel. They believe that could bring better world. This novel doesn't lead to any conclusion finally, but I felt gloomy things.

Voice recognition computers

Amazon released a new version of "Amazon Echo". Voice recognition system might become popular soon. I saw the same things in "Star Trek". They have used voice recognition computers and even tablet devices in the drama since 1960s. I think that people already have been ready to accept these kinds of technology, so we would become familiar with them in daily life quickly and naturally.

Suburbs convenient

I went to Hushimi-momoyama station yesterday for the first time. I live in the center of Kyoto city. I realized that there are high quality towns in these kind of suburban. There are a lot of shops and cafes near the station compactly. It might be more convenient than city.

Elementary schools start teaching programming

I heard that Japanese elementary schools will start teaching computer programming from 2020. Everyone might think that some children must be unsuitable to programing. However, I have been involved to programing then I have felt that some of my clients don't admire about my efforts at all because of no idea of programing. I hope the education would make understanding to programmers better.

70s' cultic UFO trends in Japan

I didn't have any leisure this GW. I got some UFO books published in 1970s at an annual secondhand book fair near by. Yukio Mishima's UFO story "Beautiful Star" was made into a movie and will be released soon. The 70s' cultic UFO trends is as interesting as the novel.

A priest of my parent's home

I went a wake yesterday. The priest of my parents' home who was in his only forties died suddenly in myocardial infarction. I'm wondering if the former old priest, his father, who has been retired five years ago returns and manages their job. It was supposed to be hard.
